We verify the quality of our Classic Powdered Basal Media by testing samples from each batch as required by specifications. Samples are prepared to 1× working concentration, and membrane filtration is performed for sterilization; testing may include endotoxin level, solubility, osmolality and pH . The values for these parameters are determined using the test conditions described for Classic Powdered Basal Media, and this medium is formulated without sodium bicarbonate to enhance stability.
