We verify the quality of our Classic Powdered Basal Media by testing samples from each batch in accordance with specifications. Samples are reconstituted to a 1× working concentration and sterilized by membrane filtration. Testing includes endotoxin level, solubility, osmolality, and pH. These parameters are measured following the standard protocols for Classic Powdered Basal Media. This medium is formulated without sodium bicarbonate to enhance stability.
