MOPS Buffer (pH 7.0) is mainly composed of MOPS, NaAc and EDTA, free of DNase and RNase. It is commonly used as running buffer for RNA electrophoresis.

MOPS, Free Acid, full name 3-(N-Morpholino)propanesulfonic acid, also known as 3-(N-morpholinyl)propanesulfonic acid. Its molecular formula is C₇H₁₅NO₄S, molecular weight 209.26, CAS No.: 1132-61-2. As a widely used buffering agent, its effective buffering range is pH 6.5–7.9 with a pKa value of 7.2 at 25°C.

WISENT provides 10× MOPS Buffer. Customers may dilute the concentrate according to experimental requirements before use.
