WISENT PrimeGrowth™ is a high-performance medium system designed for the isolation and long-term cultivation of intact intervertebral disc tissue (IVDs) with preserved vertebrae. This product maintains vertebral bone while preventing disc swelling and provides a stable substrate to withstand complex biomechanical loads. IVDs with vertebral bone provide an excellent native physiological environment for testing potential therapies that can stimulate disc cell metabolism and initiate a repair response. The PrimeGrowth medium is formulated to maintain a continuous nutrient supply and sustain high cell viability in IVDs during long-term culture.
